Details included within Wednesday’s release of Epstein documents have reignited speculation of connections to Israeli intelligence.

Jeffrey Epstein, who reportedly had extensive surveillance cameras in every room of his properties in Manhattan and the Virgin Islands, was reportedly gathering intelligence on men from one of his “Jane Does” in order to “potentially blackmail them,” according to yesterday’s large (and ongoing) release of documents related to the deceased sex-trafficking pedophile.

This is just the latest in a Costco-sized bag of breadcrumbs collected over the years suggesting that Epstein – and Ghislaine Maxwell (whose father was suspected Mossad) – was running a massive honeypot operation to gain leverage over wealthy individuals and politicians.

“I think he’s engaged in blackmail,” one Epstein researcher told NY Mag in 2019. “

The reason I think this is that I read the Palm Beach police report when they did the search warrant. Epstein had advanced warning they were coming, so he scrubbed the place as much as he could, but he left wires and audiovisual cables for uploading video files to computers, and I guess the Palm Beach Police themselves installed some of his audiovisual surveillance equipment in his residence — it’s a service they apparently do, putting in security cameras for residents. And some of his victims, like Virginia Roberts, in her court filings, said that Epstein remarked to her that “information is king,” and mentioned that Bill Clinton was there because “he owes me a favor.” He bragged that that’s how powerful he was. So I suspect, based on that evidence, that’s it’s likely, since that’s the way Epstein operates, is he uses information to his advantage.

In 2019, former Israeli spy and alleged “handler” of Robert Maxwell, Ari Ben-Menashe, told the authors of the book Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales” that Epstein ran a “complex intelligence operation” at the behest of Mossad, Summit News reported at the time:

Robert Maxwell

Believing that Epstein planned to marry his daughter, Maxwell introduced him and Ghislaine Maxwell to Ben-Menashe’s Mossad circle.

“Maxwell sort of started liking him, and my theory is that Maxwell felt that this guy is going for his daughter,” Ben-Menashe said.

“He felt that he could bless him with some work and help him out in like a paternal [way].”

Israeli intelligence bosses gave the green light and Epstein then became a Mossad asset.

“They were agents of the Israeli Intelligence Services,” said Ben-Menashe.

When it became clear that Epstein wasn’t very competent at doing much else, his primary role became “blackmailing American and other political figures.”

This is the most important interview of the past year & most people never saw it. 10 mo’s ago, Kim Iversen pressed Alan Dershowitz on Epstein’s Mossad connection. Given what was disclosed today I think you find his reaction… Interesting

And as Philip Giraldi noted in the American Herald Tribune;

Selective inquiries into wrongdoing to include intense finger pointing are the name of the game in Washington, and the affaire Epstein also has all the hallmarks of a major espionage case, possibly tied to Israel. Unless Epstein is an extremely sick pedophile who enjoys watching films of other men screwing twelve-year-old girls the whole filming procedure smacks of a sophisticated intelligence service compiling material to blackmail prominent politicians and other public figures. Those blackmailed would undoubtedly in most cases cooperate with the foreign government involved to avoid a major scandal. It is called recruiting “agents of influence.” That is how intelligence agencies work and it is what they do.

That Epstein was perceived as being intelligence-linked was made clear in Acosta’s comments when being cleared by the Trump transition team. He was asked “Is the Epstein case going to cause a problem [for confirmation hearings]?” … “Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he’d had just one meeting on the Epstein case. He’d cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein’s attorneys because he had ‘been told’ to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. ‘I was told Epstein belonged to intelligence and to leave it alone.’

Questions about Epstein’s wealth also suggest a connection with a secretive government agency with deep pocketsThe New York Times reports that “Exactly what his money management operation did was cloaked in secrecy, as were most of the names of whomever he did it for. He claimed to work for a number of billionaires, but the only known major client was Leslie Wexner, the billionaire founder of several retail chains, including The Limited.”

What’s more, Wednesday’s release contains a reference to a secret non-prosecution agreement with the US government “precluding any Federal prosecution in the Southern District of Florida of Epstein and his co-conspirators.”

As Giraldi further asks…

But whose intelligence service?

CIA and the Russian FSB services are obvious candidates, but they would have no particular motive to acquire an agent like Epstein. That leaves Israel, which would have been eager to have a stable of high-level agents of influence in Europe and the United States. Epstein’s contact with the Israeli intelligence service may have plausibly come through his associations with Ghislaine Maxwell, who allegedly served as his key procurer of young girls. Ghislaine is the daughter of Robert Maxwell, who died or possibly was assassinated in mysterious circumstances in 1991. Maxwell was an Anglo-Jewish businessman, very cosmopolitan in profile, like Epstein, a multi-millionaire who was very controversial with what were regarded as ongoing ties to Mossad. After his death, he was given a state funeral by Israel in which six serving and former heads of Israeli intelligence listened while Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir eulogized: “He has done more for Israel than can today be said”
