New images have emerged that depict British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and her ex-boyfriend, disgraced late financier Jeffrey Epstein, sharing intimate moments at the Queen Elizabeth II’s log cabin at the royal Balmoral Estate.

The image, which was believed to have been captured in 1999, shows Maxwell and Epstein cozying up together on a bench at a log cabin in Glen Beg, which lies the grounds of the lavish royal estate in the Scottish Highlands.

The Queen has also been photographed in precisely the same location during a lunch with her first cousin, Margaret Rhodes.

The photograph was among a large tranche of photographs linking Maxwell to the convicted sex offender in her ongoing trial on charges of sex trafficking.

The images, which were seized by federal investigators in 2019, are meant to support the U.S. government’s case that Maxwell and Epstein were “partners in crime” in their horrific sexual abuse of underage girls and young women.

The notorious pair were likely invited to Balmoral by Prince Andrew, a close associate of the two who has been accused of sexual abuse by Virginia Roberts, now known as Virginia Giuffre, who claims that she was forced to have sex with the prince on three separate occasions.

The Telegraph reports that the Queen is thought to have been in residence at the cabin when the photo was taken, some time around the late summer and early fall.

Maxwell, 59, faces six charges, including grooming multiple minors to engage in illegal sex acts with Epstein, her ex-boyfriend, and sex-trafficking a minor. Prosecutors are also accusing the British media heiress of conspiracy, including recruiting one of her partner’s victims to help recruit other girls to be paid to undergo abuse at the hands of Epstein.

Epstein, 66, died of apparent suicide during his incarceration at a federal prison in New York City in August 2019 while facing a potential prison sentence of up to 45 years on charges of pedophilia and sex trafficking.
