“Vaccines are Safe and Highly Effective, It’s Important for Parents to Know it’s the Best Way to Protect Your Kids”
Sen. Elizabeth Warren asked a few questions about vaccines to Dr. Anne Schuchat, the CDC’s director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.
“Is there any scientific evidence that vaccines cause autism?” Warren asked.
“No,” Schuchat replied.
“Is there any scientific evidence that vaccines cause profound mental disorders?” Warren asked.
“No, but some of the diseases we vaccinate against can,” Schuchat answered.
Schuchat concluded, “Vaccines are safe and highly effective and it’s important for parents to know they’re the best way to protect their kids.”
