TSA Orders 116 Pounds of High Explosive

Potassium Chlorate

Yesterday, the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) awarded City Chemical LLC a contract to fulfill for 510 bottles of 500 grams (255 kg / 116 pounds) of Potassium Chlorate (KClO3 ) for $21,746.40. The chemical is used for many things but is most well-known for making a high explosive material known as a Sprengel explosive. The TSA has yet to prevent or terrorist attack and has been so far a waste of money. How is raping our children through the TSA keeps us safe from terror.

The company the order was placed with was City Chemical, LLC. They received notoriety in 1993 when it was uncovered as the supplier of multiple explosives to the suspects in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

The TSA has been solicited for 5 different explosives detection systems:

Last year in September 2013, the TSA spent nearly 1 billion dollars for the purchase of explosive storage magazines.  In August 2012, the TSA purchased 1,400 pounds of high explosives, the same ones as used in the Murrah Federal Building bombing in 1992, and the CEO of the company was a former TSA director.

As Matt Mill’s has shown us at the Super bowl. Security is an illusion. Ultimately we will be faced with the question whether to live free and dangerously or  safe and in a prison.
