Missouri Town Riots after Unarmed Teen Shot and Killed by Police

Rioting and looting broke out in a St. Louis suburb following protests over the fatal police shooting of an unarmed teen.

Protesters were demanding action against police who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown on Saturday night during a scuffle with officers.

At least two officers suffered injuries and 32 people were arrested after a prayer vigil for an 18-year-old killed by a Ferguson police officer that escalated into rioting and looting.

Angry mobs began smashing windows, setting fires and looting businesses in the area.

1108_ferguson1Numerous cop cars sustained damage according to Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson and he claims someone in a yellow pickup truck fired shots at officers while circling a Wal-Mart parking lot, as well as a police helicopter.

Windows of a News truck were smashed.

KMOV reports, a group of people attempted to steal an ATM from a gas station.

Tear gas was reportedly used by police in some areas.

Officers were seen in riot gear.
