A dog was shot and killed in Racine during a standoff with militarized police and protests continue in the community as residents take to a public square to voice their opinions about the police state.
A protester was open carrying, and talked to me about the police and open carry.
I decided to stick around and see the police reaction, within a few moments multiple officers approached the cornered group.
The Racine Police passed out flyers ”asking” the protesters to respect the fact that the Public Monument Square had been rented out by the Racine Court for a Christmas event.
They were instructed to keep moving, and the open carry protester was never questioned about his firearm.
