The incident took place on January 18th, 2014 where she along with a handful of others were arrested by the Fullerton Police allegedly for ‘failure to disperse’. Patti Beers was covering a protest that was in response to the not guilty verdict for the two officers involved in the beating of Kelly Thomas.
