On Tuesday the United States announced that after two years of negotiations a nuclear deal with Iran had finally been reached. President Obama heralded the agreement as a victory for all involved, and warned his partners both domestically and overseas not to stand in its way.
Iranians in Tehran celebrated the deal, which would also result in the lifting of burdensome sanctions imposed by the United States, the European Union and the United Nations.
The nuclear agreement was not met as warmly in Israel where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeatedly called it a “very bad deal.”
